22 Foods Rich In Iodine, the Essential Mineral!

22 Foods Rich In Iodine, the Essential Mineral!
http://bembu.com/iodine-rich-foods

Iodine is an essential mineral that’s vital to the proper functioning of the thyroid. The thyroid gland is responsible for managing growth and metabolism. An iodine deficiency can cause symptoms such as fatigue, high cholesterol, lethargy, depression, and swelling of the thyroid gland. Prevent this dangerous deficiency by eating the right amount of iodine rich foods each day.
Baked Potatoes
In order to get the necessary nutrients, baked potatoes are a better option than mashed potatoes. Most of the important dietary staples, such as fiber, vitamins, and potassium are contained in the skin. Baked potatoes are also a great source of iodine; one medium potato provides about 40% of the recommended daily amount of iodine.

Serving Size (1 medium potato), 60 micrograms of iodine (40% DV), 161 calories.
Milk
Milk is usually the beverage of choice for anyone who’s worried about a calcium or Vitamin D deficiency. But milk also contains several other nutrients, including the essential mineral iodine. One cup of milk contains an impressive 56 micrograms of the mineral, or about 37% of what the average person must consume each day.

Serving Size (1 cup), 56 micrograms of iodine (37% DV), 98 calories.
Dried Seaweed
For iodine deficiency, dried seaweed is the go-to remedy because of its incredible supply of this essential mineral. A quarter-ounce serving contains 4,500 micrograms of iodine. That’s way more than enough iodine for the body to absorb in a day (3000% of the daily value, to be exact.) Consume smaller portions over time in order to gain the health benefits.

Serving Size (1/4 ounce), 4,500 micrograms of iodine (3000% DV), 18 calories.
Cod
The meat of the cod fish is mild, moist, and delicious. It’s also low-fat, low-calorie, and packed with several nutrients. A three-ounce serving size of cod provides your body with 99 micrograms of iodine, or 66% of the recommended amount per day. Cod is also a healthy source of protein, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and Vitamin E.

Serving Size (3 ounces), 99 micrograms of iodine (66% DV), 89 calories.
Fortified Iodized Salt
Iodine is often confused with salt, but the two are actually very distinct. In terms of chemistry, salt is classified as a crystal, and is composed of two elements: sodium and chloride. Iodine, on the other hand is a mineral. Many brands of salt are fortified with the essential mineral iodine. If you worry you’re not getting enough iodine, check to make sure the salt you’re using is fortified with iodine, and then enjoy it in moderation with a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Serving Size (1 gram), 77 micrograms of iodine (51% DV), 0 calories.
Shrimp
Seafood is usually a great source of iodine, and shrimp is just one example. A three-ounce serving of shrimp provides 35 micrograms of iodine, or enough to account for just under a quarter of the recommended amount each day. Shrimp also provides your body with other essential minerals, primarily protein and calcium.
Serving Size (3 ounces), 35 micrograms of iodine (23% DV), 84 calories.

Himalayan Crystal Salt
If you’re trying to avoid conventional table salt but you’re worried about not getting enough iodine, Himalayan crystal salt is a viable alternative. Half a gram of Himalayan crystal salt provides 250 micrograms of iodine—over 150% of the amount the average body needs each day—so enjoy this special salt in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

Serving Size (1/2 gram), 250 micrograms of iodine (167% DV), 0 calories.
Baked Turkey Breast
Three ounces of baked turkey breast meat provides 34 micrograms of essential iodine. That’s about 23% of the daily recommended value. For reference, three ounces of meat is about the size of a deck of cards. Turkey also provides your body with B-vitamins, potassium, and phosphorus, all of which are essential to a strong and healthy body.

Serving Size (3 ounces), 34 micrograms of iodine (23% DV), 78 calories.
Dried Prunes
If you’re used to associating dried prunes with the elderly, try giving these sweet fruits a chance. If you don’t, you’ll be missing out on all the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals they have to provide. Just five dried prunes provide your body with essential fiber, boron, Vitamin A, Vitamin K, and much more. Prunes are also a good source of iodine, and their many essential nutrients make them a great addition to any diet.

Serving Size (5 prunes), 13 micrograms of iodine (9% DV), 120 calories.
Navy Beans
Beans are some of the healthiest and most versatile foods on the planet. Enjoy a half-cup serving with any meal, and you’ll provide your body with a respectable amount of protein, copper, potassium, calcium, folate, and iodine. If you’re trying to prevent an iodine deficiency, navy beans are an excellent remedy because of the many additional nutrients they add to your diet.

Serving Size (1/2 cup), 32 micrograms of iodine (21% DV), 128 calories.
Fish Sticks
Fish sticks can be a good source of iodine if you’re worried about a deficiency in your diet. Due to their high calorie content, though, you should eat them only in moderation. Two fish sticks can supply your body with 35 micrograms of iodine, or about 23% of the recommended daily value.

Serving Size (2 fish sticks), 35 micrograms of iodine (23% DV), 140 calories.
Canned Tuna
Tuna that is canned in oil usually contains more iodine than when it’s canned in water. Three ounces of canned tuna provides 17 micrograms of iodine, or 11% of what the average person must consume per day. Add more tuna to your diet for more iodine, and you’ll also benefit from its high protein, Vitamin D, and iron contents.

Serving Size (3 ounces), 17 micrograms of iodine (11% DV), 99 calories.
Boiled Eggs
Hard boiled eggs are a versatile, healthy food that supplies the body with Vitamin A, Vitamin D, zinc, calcium, antioxidants, and more. They’re also consumed for their iodine content. One hardboiled egg provides just under 10% of the iodine needed for the day. For a light and healthy meal, slice a hard-boiled egg over a leafy green and veggie-filled salad.

Serving Size (1 large egg), 12 micrograms of iodine (9% DV), 78 calories.
Plain Yogurt
Yogurt is a healthy food that’s often enjoyed at breakfast or as a light snack. It’s known for its high contents of calcium and protein, but it’s also a great option for those looking to increase the iodine in their diet. A cup of plain yogurt provides 58% of the daily recommended value of iodine.

Serving Size (1 cup), 154 micrograms of iodine (58% DV), 154 calories.
Bananas
Eating a banana is a quick and healthy way to get an energy boost, thanks in part to the high potassium content. But many people don’t realize that bananas also contain iodine, making them a healthy and nutrient-rich food to supplement a high iodine diet. A medium-sized banana contains 3 micrograms of essential iodine.

Serving Size (1 medium banana), 3 micrograms of iodine (2% DV), 12 calories.
Strawberries
Strawberries are a tasty and nutrient rich fruit that provides your body with many vitamins and minerals. Strawberries are deliciously sweet, but they’re a surprising source of iodine. A one-cup serving contains 13 micrograms of iodine, or just under 10% of what the average person needs to consume in a day.

Serving Size (1 cup), 13 micrograms of iodine (9% DV), 46 calories.
Canned Corn
There are many ways to enjoy corn, including creamed, canned, or on the cob. For a boost in the mineral iodine, which is essential to a healthy and fully-functioning body, choose canned corn. Enjoy half a cup of canned corn as a side dish with dinner, and your body will reap the benefits of 14 micrograms of iodine.

Serving Size (1/2 cup), 14 micrograms of iodine (9% DV), 67 calories.
Lobster
Lobster is usually reserved for special occasions, but if you’re suffering from iodine deficiency, a serving of lobster can be a great way to get the boost your body needs. A 100-gram serving of lobster provides 100 micrograms of the essential mineral, or about two-thirds of the recommended daily value.

Serving Size (100 grams), 100 micrograms of iodine (67% DV), 98 calories.
Cheddar Cheese
Cheddar cheese is a great food choice when you need more iodine in your diet. It’s easy to add a slice to burgers and sandwiches or to sprinkle shredded cheddar over soups and salads. An ounce of cheddar cheese provides 12 micrograms of iodine. As with most cheeses, you should enjoy cheddar in moderation because of its high calorie count.

Serving Size (1 ounce), 12 micrograms of iodine (8% DV), 452 calories.
Cranberries
Cranberries have a rich color and a unique flavor. If you’re able to enjoy the sour taste, cranberries provide many health benefits. They have a high concentration of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and fiber, and they’re known to prevent urinary tract infections. They’re also a stellar source of iodine; four ounces of these tart treats contains well over the recommended daily value of iodine.

Serving Size (4 ounces), 400 micrograms of iodine (267% DV), 52 calories.
White Bread
White bread is sometimes discarded as unhealthy fluff, but it actually contains several essential minerals. If you eat it in moderation, it can be a great addition to a balanced diet. If iodine deficiency is a concern, two slices of white bread provide 45 micrograms of iodine, or 30% of the recommended daily value.

Serving Size (2 slices), 45 micrograms of iodine (30% DV), 132 calories.
Green Beans
If you’re missing that last little bit of iodine in your diet, cook a serving of green beans with your next meal. A half-cup serving contains 3 micrograms of iodine. That’s just enough to net 2% of the daily recommended value. In addition, green beans (also commonly referred to as string beans) are a great source of Vitamin C, potassium, and folate.

Serving Size (1/2 cup), 3 micrograms of iodine (2% DV), 16 calories.
Iodine is an essential part of a healthy, balanced diet. Since the body cannot synthesize this mineral, it’s important to include various iodine rich foods in your diet each day. Fortunately, there are many fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and seafood options that make it easy to get the iodine your body needs each day.

FDA Pertussis Vaccine Study Shatters Illusion of Vaccine-Induced Immunity.

FDA Pertussis Vaccine Study Shatters Illusion of Vaccine-Induced Immunity
www.NVIC.org
A baboon study conducted by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) researchers revealed that DPT and DTaP vaccines can protect against developing whooping cough symptoms, but neither vaccine prevents infection or the ability to transmit infection. At two, four and six months of age infant baboons were given either acellular (DTaP) or a whole-cell (DPT) pertussis vaccine. The baboons had high antibody levels after getting vaccinated, but when exposed to B. pertussis at seven months old, they colonized B. pertussis and were able to infect other baboons even though they didn't get sick themselves.
NVIC president and cofounder Barbara Loe Fisher said, "This study in infant baboons suggests that pertussis vaccine-acquired immunity has been an illusion. Although the vaccines may protect against severe B. pertussis clinical symptoms of the disease-such as paroxysmal coughing-they do not prevent colonization of B. pertussis bacteria and transmission of the infection to others."

FDA Approves Experimental H5N1 Bird Flu Vaccine with Reactive AS03 Adjuvant for U.S. Stockpile

FDA Approves Experimental H5N1 Bird Flu Vaccine with Reactive AS03 Adjuvant for U.S. Stockpile
by Patrice La Vigne
http://www.NVIC.org
For some time now, vaccine researchers around the world have been on the prowl to create the perfect swine and bird flu vaccines that are both effective and safe, but have come up far short of perfection. In the process, they have added squalene-type "oil-in-water" adjuvants to some influenza vaccines, only to find that it can be risky business.
Squalene Adjuvants Never Licensed Before in U.S.
Squalene adjuvants, which ramp up the immune response, have never been licensed for use in the U.S. However, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) paved the way for a squalene adjuvant to be included in U.S. vaccines with its November 2013 approval of the first influenza A (H5N1) monovalent "bird flu" vaccine: GlaxoSmithKline's Q-Pan vaccine that contains the controversial oil-in-water emulsion adjuvant AS03.
Q-Pan vaccine will be added to the U.S. pandemic emergency vaccine stockpile. Although there is no H5N1 influenza pandemic underway to justify fast-tracked approval of the experimental AS03-adjuvanted bird flu vaccine, the speedy FDA approval comes amid mounting evidence that AS03 adjuvants are associated with development of serious autoimmune and neurological disorders like narcolepsy.

Psychiatric insanity: Over 20% of young boys labeled 'ADHD'

Psychiatric insanity: Over 20% of young boys labeled 'ADHD'

Thursday, December 05, 2013 by: J. D. Heyes

(NaturalNews) It's no secret that, increasingly, Big Pharma, in cahoots with traditional medicinal practitioners, have created a society of near-zombies with all of the mood altering medications they push on the public. But even these figures are shocking.

According to recently published information from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an astounding 20-plus percent of all 14-year-old boys in the United States have been diagnosed, at one time or another over the course of their lives, with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) - a condition that is, of course, treated with dangerous medications.

As reported by CNSNews.com:

The study also said more than 20 percent of 11-year-old boys had been diagnosed with ADHD at some point in their lives.

The study indicated that American boys were 125 percent more likely than girls to be diagnosed with ADHD, and that boys were 127 percent more likely than girls to be medicated for it.

13.3 percent of American 11-year-old boys are being medicated for ADHD, said the study.

That's incredible; one in five American teenaged boys have been "diagnosed" with this "disorder."

'It highlights the consistent increases in ADHD diagnoses since 2003'

But it gets worse; according to the CDC's study, the percentage of U.S. children between the ages of 4 and 17 years who have been labeled with the diagnosis rose to a mind-boggling 42 percent between 2003 and 2011.
In addition, the study found that kids in public health programs like Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) were 53 percent more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than children with private health insurance. So not only are too many kids being diagnosed with this "disorder," but you're paying for it.

"The parent-reported prevalence of a history of an attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis by a health care provider among U.S. school-aged children increased from 7.8 percent in 2003 to 11 percent in 2011, an increase of 42 percent in less than a decade," said the study, which was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

"This study is really based on the parent-reported survey data and it extends what we know about the increasing prevalence of health-care-provider diagnosed ADHD," Susanna Visser, of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, said in a CDC podcast.

"It highlights the consistent increases in ADHD diagnoses since 2003," said Visser, who was one of the authors of the study. "Now we also document that there's been significant increases in the percentage of kids 4-17 years of age who are taking medication for ADHD since 2007."

Tens of thousands were surveyed

The ADHD diagnosis is not evenly distributed among the nation's children, the study also found.

"Ever-diagnosed ADHD was more common among children with health care coverage than those without coverage, and among those with public coverage than with private coverage," it said. "Nearly 1 in 5 high school boys and 1 in 11 high school girls had been diagnosed with ADHD."

Continuing, the researchers said, "Estimates of medicated ADHD increased in 2011, as compared to 2007, particularly among teen boys. In 2011, the highest medicated ADHD prevalence was among 11-year-old boys (13.3 percent)."

Researchers at the CDC based their conclusions on the National Survey of Children's Health, which was conducted in three phases - in 2003, 2007 and 2011. The survey interviewed a random sample of tens of thousands of parents, including 95,677 in the final 2011-2012 phase. Each was asked about one child in their family.

Among the questions asked was whether a physician or other healthcare provider had ever informed the parent that their child had ADHD, and whether the child was currently taking medications for the condition.

Important Information About the Dangers of Fluoride and It's Health Impacts!

http://cypress.he.net/~bigmacnc/FFPLab/orderinginfo.htm

Fluoridated vs. Unfluoridated Countries
(Tooth Decay Trends)

Fluoridation of community water started in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1945, and municipalities across the country soon began adopting the practice. Studies showed a 50 to 70 percent reduction in dental cavities in children who drank fluoridated water. But these studies were poorly designed and riddled with bias and conflicts of interest. None were blinded; so dentist-examining children for cavities knew which kind of water they were drinking. But they served their purpose. These studies were designed to further the propaganda interests of the state, not test a hypothesis.

A large number of better-conducted studies show that tooth decay rates are the same in fluoridated and unfluoridated countries. Only five countries still fluoridate their water. When European countries stopped fluoridating their water tooth decay rates continued to trend down.

Dental Fluorosis:
The first visible sign of fluoride poisoning is dental fluorosis, which affects more than 40 percent of children in optimally fluoridated areas. It begins as small white specks in the enamel that then turn into spots, become confluent, and, in most severe stages, turn brown. Brown mottling occurs in 3 percent and fluorosis of aesthetic concern affects 12 percent of children.

Cosmetic Correction of Fluorosis:
Dentist in fluoridated communities make more money. Not only do they have an equal number of cavities to repair, the disfigurement fluorosis causes is more lucrative to correct than filling cavities. Fluoride also delays the normal shedding of baby teeth and their replacement by permanent teeth, increasing the likelihood that the permanent teeth will come in malpositioned and require the services of an orthodontist and braces to straighten them.

Lead, Fluoride, and Arsenic:
As a poison, fluoride ranks up there with lead and arsenic. But given its protected pollutant status, the EPA gives fluoride a pass, setting its maximum contaminant level in water at 4,000 parts per billion, or 4mg per liter. Lead and arsenic, in contrast, are tightly controlled at 15 and 50 parts billion respectively.
The concentration of fluoride added to human drinking water – 1 mg per liter – kills freshwater fish.

Manifestations of Fluoride Poisoning:
Fluoride has a particular affinity for calcium and thus for bone. It poisons bones the same way it does teeth, by blocking the enzyme that produces collagen, which provides the structural framework for both tissues. One study has shown that children with severe dental fluorosis are more likely to have bone fractures. On average, 50 percent of the fluoride a person ingest accumulates in the bones and other tissues. Unlike teeth where the enamel, once formed, remains static, 10 percent of bone tissue is broken down and replaced annually, giving fluoride an opportunity to steadily accumulate year-after-year in bones.
Skeletal fluorosis, in its initial clinical stage mimics arthritis. The causes of most forms of arthritis, like osteoarthritis, are unknown. One in three American has arthritis, and it is biologically plausible that this high incidence is a consequence of fluoridation; but government agencies will not fund studies to investigate this possibility.

In the next stage, osteoporosis develops and bones become more brittle and weak, making them prone to fracture. There is also an epidemic of osteoporosis and hip fractures in the United States. The third and final stage, crippling fluorosis, occurs mainly in India where the natural fluoride content of water is very high.
There is growing evidence that fluoride also causes brain fluorosis. Researchers in China have shown that children who drink naturally fluoridated water have lower IQ scores. Rats given fluoridated water at the upper limit approved by the EPA develop symptoms resembling attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. Fluoride combines with aluminum in drinking water and takes it through the blood-brain barrier into the brain, and a characteristic finding in Alzheimer’s disease is high aluminum levels in the brain.
Being a smaller and thus more active halogen, fluoride blocks iodine uptake in the thyroid gland and causes hypothyroidism, an increasingly frequent disorder in the United States.

Studies show that the rates of bone cancer are substantially higher in fluoridated areas, particularly in boys.
High concentrations of fluoride accumulate in the pineal gland in the brain, which produces serotonin and melatonin. Girls who drink fluoridated water reach puberty six months earlier than those who drink unfluoridated water, thought to be a result of reduced melatonin production.
Fluoride damages sperm, and one study found an increased rate of infertility among couples living in areas where fluoride content in the water was 3mg/L, 1mg below the EPA’s upper limit.

Water Filters that Remove Fluoride:
Regular carbon filters do not remove fluoride, which is smaller than the pore size of the filters. One has to use reverse osmosis filtration or distillation.
Hydrofluorosilicic acid, produced in manufacturing phosphate fertilizer, is now used to fluoridate municipal water. Other waste products are mixed with this compound scrubbed from smokestacks of the fertilizer plants. They include lead, arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, mercury, and aluminum. One of the best investments people who live in fluoridated area can make for maintaining good health is to filter the water they drink with a reverse osmosis filtration system or a water distiller.
The average American living in a fluoridated community now ingests 8mg of fluoride a day. But people who live in unfluoridated areas also consume a lot of fluoride, on average 4mg/day. It is in toothpaste; in fruit juices, soda pop, tea, and processed foods; and unfortunately, also California wines, whose grapes are sprayed with the pesticide cyrolite (sodium aluminum fluoride).

Water Fluoridation in the United States:
Overall, 60 percent of Americans are forced to drink fluoridated water. The lowest percentage, less than 2 percent, is in Utah, which has the best dental health in the country, and the highest percentage, 100 percent is in Illinois. The CDC, in its wisdom, ranks fluoridation of community drinking water as one of the ten most significant public health achievements of the 20th century, and the goal of the government’s Healthy People 2010 initiative is to have 75 percent of the population drinking fluoridated water.

Fluoride: Poison for the Whole Family

Fluoride: Poison for the Whole Family

By: Manfred Mueller, MA, DHM, RSHom(NA), CCH
Copyright © 1995. All rights reserved. Revised 2000 and 2005

Municipalities add fluoride to public water systems in the United States at the rate of 1 to 3 ppm (parts per million) – purportedly as a means to prevent tooth decay. This has produced serious environmental diseases including genetic mutations that are passed on to the offspring of those affected.
Fluoride is a by-product of the aluminum and phosphate fertilizer industries and a potent poison. When scientists raised concerns about the dumping of fluoride into rivers and lakes, the industry proposed the following solution: adding the substance in controlled amounts to drinking water, defending it to the public as a “safe” and effective preventive measure for tooth decay. However, fluoride is more poisonous than lead and only slightly less poisonous than arsenic. Prior to fluoridation in water, fluoride was used as a rat poison. One single tube of commercial toothpaste contains enough fluoride to kill a child.
John Yiamouyiannis, Ph.D., author of “Fluoride: The Aging Factor” (1993) and an internationally recognized expert on the biological effects of fluoride, estimates that by 1993, fluoridated drinking water was responsible for the chronic poisoning of over 130 Million Americans. He approximates that about 40 Million Americans suffer from fluoride-induced arthritis, about 8 Million children in the US have developed fluoride allergies, and about 35, 000 Americans die from fluoride poisoning each year.
According to a study conducted by Yiamouyiannis, and Dean Burk, Ph. D., a chemist from the National Cancer Institute, about 10,000 Americans die each year from fluoride induced cancer. But cancer is not the only danger from fluoride. William Murphy, MD, Nobel Prize winner, in Medicine, writes, “dental fluorosis (mottling) may result (from fluoridation of drinking water). In hypersensitive individuals, fluorides occasionally cause skin eruptions such as atopic dermatitis, eczema, or urticaria (hives). Gastric distress, headache and weakness have been reported.”
According to a pamphlet published by Yiamouyiannis, fluoride causes visible symptoms in people who are poisoned by the substance. Nearly 35% of people who grow up in areas where fluoride has been added to the drinking water have visible dental abnormalities, resulting from disturbed tooth development. Dental fluorosis, or mottling, appears as chalky-white areas on the tooth, gradually turning yellowish and in severe cases, turning brown and even black. The teeth become brittle, and the tip breaks off. Some studies show that poorly nourished children show dental fluorosis even when they drink water with only a .4-PPM fluoride concentration.
The 1992 Canadian Dental Association Proposed Guidelines stated: “Fluoride damages teeth by interfering with the proper formation of collagen-like proteins in the tooth during the tooth’s formative stages. These proteins also comprise the structural component for skin, ligaments, muscles, cartilage and bone. Fluoridated water leads to a prematurely wrinkled skin, arthritis, torn ligaments and tendons. Fluoride ingested in a concentration of less than 1 PPM can cause osteoporosis. As little as .7-PPM concentration of fluoride in the water can produce skeletal or osteofluorosis.
Several studies published by the journal of the American Medical Association have found that fluorides produces bone damage. According to these studies, hip fractures are more common in fluoridated areas. An article in the March 22, 1990 New England Journal of Medicine reported that fluoride treatment of osteoporosis caused bone fractures.
A large number of studies have linked fluoride and genetic damage. And many animal studies show that fluoride causes cancer, including melanotic tumors (skin tumors), hepatochlorangiomas (rare liver cancer), oral cancer, and osteosarcomas (bone tumors). In human studies, fluoride has been shown to transform white blood cells into “cells suggestive of reticuloendothelial malignancy (a form of leukemia)”, gastric cancer, and lung cancer.
Though several studies have been cited to refute the Burk-Yiamouyannis study that found 10,000 cancer deaths each year, after adjusting for errors and omissions. The National Cancer institute, the Safe Water Foundation, and the New Jersey Department of Health, both found that the incidence of osteosarcomas in men living in areas of fluoridated water was higher than those who were not exposed.
A recent report points to the fact that the above studies were conducted with pure (pharmaceutical grade) fluoride. However, the fluoride added to our drinking water is derived from phosphate mines in central Florida. Phosphates, a major raw material used by the fertilizer industry, are found there along with fluorosilicates and radioactive uranium. Due to their proximity, fluorosilicates are radioactive. Municipalities add these radioactive fluorosilicates to the drinking water. This means that the real cancer rate and genetic damage due to fluoridation may actually be much higher than the studies suggest.
The toxic effects of fluoride have been known for over 150 years, when homeopathic physicians tested the poison on healthy volunteers in small amounts (in a process called “proving”) to see what therapeutic benefit could be derived from the substance. They found that 3-PPM fluoride (about the concentration of fluoridated drinking water) caused “feelings of indifference towards one’s family and loved ones, an inability to realize responsibilities and a sense of mental buoyancy.” Would the dramatic increase in family problems be related to fluoridated drinking water?
In addition to the psychological symptoms caused by fluoride, numerous neurological symptoms were noted, that read like a clinical description of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. The poison affects almost every organ of the body as well. Was the fluoride added deliberately to make people sick? One wonders who could benefit from the widespread poisoning of the population. The profits of the cancer industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the dental profession have sky rocketed since the addition of fluoride.
Hollywood has been mocking fluoridation of water supplies for years. As early as the nineteen-seventies, in the movie Dr. Strangelove, a military general who is preparing for a nuclear war tries to convince one of the officers on his base, played by Peter Sellers, that fluoridation of drinking water is “the most hideous Communist conspiracy ever conceived.” In the movie, Gross Point Blank, a professional killer, portrayed by Dan Akroyd, brags that the “mental enhancer” drug he pops daily “will soon be added to the drinking water, like fluoride.” In the introduction to the movie Conspiracy Theory, the character played by Mel Gibson launches a tirade about the fluoridation of water purportedly breaking “the will” of the population. If the above-mentioned studies are correct, the latter warning may not be so far from the truth.
Whether or not fluoridation represents a conspiracy, the serious health problems resulting from the poison are real. To avoid those problems, it is necessary to stay away from commercial (including some “natural”) toothpastes that contain fluoride. There are several alternative toothpastes on the market, available in health food stores. For those who have fluoridated city water, a whole house filter can be installed, which removes most contaminants including fluoride, and might make the water safe for washing dishes and doing laundry. All drinking water should be tested for chemical contaminants, including radioactive particles. It is best to avoid all fluoridated water. For bathing, drinking and cooking, good spring water from a protected watershed is still the best solution.
Once exposure to fluoride has been eliminated, a homeopathic potency of the substance may remove the disorders caused by the poison. This method is known as tautopathic treatment. It makes use of the hormesis effect, the observation that a minute dose of a toxic substance can protect against a toxic dose of the poison. Along with specific homeopathic treatment the body can slowly restore its health and begin its recovery from chronic poisoning.

Research News: Homeopathy and Cancer
Scientists from around the world continue to look at homeopathy as a highly safe form of nanomedicine with the potential to help patients with cancer. A newly published study looked at the effect of a number of selected homeopathic remedies on kidney, colon and breast cancer cells. The results were very encouraging. The scientists found that the three remedies studied both killed cancer cells and reduced their proliferation.
